It started in 1909 with Gino's Grandmother, Immacolata, and continues to this day at il Trianino Ristorante in Naples, Italy. There he met Tia, a Boise native who stopped in to have a dinner as she was traveling through Europe. It was love at first sight or bite, they're still not sure. They married, brought their daughter Jessica into the world, and seven years later returned to Boise. Since, they have added a son, Vincenzo, to their family.
Great Italian food deserves a landscape as picturesque as Italy. The Mercato at BridgeTower provides the perfect countryside setting in a centralized location that best serves the entire valley. Here it is possible to passionately eat like Southern Italians in a quiet setting that includes seasonal outdoor dining and special samplings of fine art and music.
When you come in to eat, be sure to say "hello" to Gino. He'll be in the kitchen. Gino and Tia pride themselves on traditional Italian hospitality. So feel as though you are at home sharing great food and wine with good friends and family. Please!
